Chris Goldrick – Chief Operating Officer
After over a decade of sales management in the packaging machinery business, Chris had caught the wine bug and switched careers. He managed the wine department for one of Connecticut’s largest retailers, and then worked in sales for Eder Bros., also in the Connecticut market. He then became the Director of Education for the company. In this role, Chris trained all new sales consultants and managers in consultative selling skills, product knowledge and computer programs. He published the first newsletter in company history, and established and email database to market directly to key accounts. He planned and directed all trade shows and educational travels. He actively participated in hiring decisions and wine portfolio selections.
He continued to sell specialty wines to key accounts, growing that business by 97%, and tackled technology projects that greatly enhanced the tools that the sales department used in the field and their home offices.
Chris studied marketing at Lafayette College and Rutgers University. He is an avid wine collector and has traveled on his own to the wine regions of Burgundy, California, Washington and Oregon.
